Contemporary portraiture, real human stories and carefully curated artistic interventions created for exceptional hospitality spaces.
Female Portraits · Looking Back to the Past
Female Portraits: Looking Back to the Past is a contemporary portrait series by Spanish-Brazilian visual artist Séfora Camazano.
Inspired by the sensitivity of Joaquín Sorolla and reinterpreted through a contemporary perspective, the collection brings together women of different nationalities through stories of identity, dignity, resilience and transformation.
Art in Hospitality
In 2023, Female Portraits: Looking Back to the Past was presented at The Westin Valencia, where the exhibition remained on view for seven months.
The project demonstrated how contemporary art can coexist naturally with a luxury hospitality environment, becoming part of the guest's journey through the property rather than functioning as an isolated exhibition.
The relationship between artwork, architecture and hospitality creates a different form of encounter: guests discover the works gradually, as part of their experience of the hotel.

“Each portrait begins with a real story.”

More than an exhibition
The collection explores dignity, identity, resilience and transformation through women from different backgrounds and nationalities.
Some of these stories are shaped by migration, violence against women and processes of personal reconstruction, giving the exhibition a social and human dimension that extends beyond the visual experience.
The result is a body of work with a strong pictorial presence and a universal language: visually refined, emotionally immediate and capable of creating a meaningful encounter with an international audience.
Designed around each property
Every collaboration is developed in dialogue with the architecture, identity and guest experience of the property.
Art within the hotel
Beyond temporary exhibitions, individual works can also be integrated into hospitality environments, establishing a lasting dialogue with the architecture, interior design and identity of each property.
