Receiving the Poseidon International Art Award in Venice December 4th 2025 On November 29, 2025, I received in Venice the Poseidon International Prize – The King of Laguna, awarded by the Fondazione Effetto Arte, at the Scuola Grande di San Teodoro. It was an important moment for me, not only because of the recognition itself, but because of everything it represents after so many years of work. In recent years, my path as a contemporary artist has been closely linked to telling real stories: identity, migration, resilience, and memory. For me, aesthetics are important, but only when they are joined to meaning, emotion, and story. Receiving the International Prize “Artists on the French Riviera” September 19th, 2025 On September 12, in the beautiful city of Nice, I had the profound honor of receiving the prestigious International Prize “Artists on the French Riviera,” awarded by the Fondazione Effetto Arte, at the Musée National du Sport. This recognition marks the third international award for artistic merit in my career, and I am filled with gratitude and reflection as I share this moment. “Respect” by Séfora Camazano Exhibited at World Art Dubai 2025 April 17th 2025 I am pleased to announce that my artwork “Respect” is currently being exhibited at World Art Dubai 2025, one of the leading international contemporary art fairs in the Middle East. The piece is on view at the Fondazione Effetto Arte booths (DB06, E06, E01, DB01) located in Za'abeel Hall 2 of the Dubai World Trade Centre. This powerful portrait is part of my ongoing series highlighting female resilience and the human capacity to overcome trauma. Based on real testimonies, Respect tells the story of Lourdes, a woman who survived over three decades of psychological abuse in a seemingly “perfect” marriage, and Rosa, a survivor of childhood sexual abuse who transformed her trauma into strength, becoming a psychologist to help others heal.
