Retrats Femenins: Migrants arrives at the Biblioteca de la Dona in Valencia April 30th, 2026 From 30 April to 15 May 2026, I present Retrats Femenins: Migrants at the Biblioteca de la Dona in Valencia, a photographic project dedicated to bringing visibility to the stories of migrant women living in the Valencian Community.The exhibition brings together portraits of women from different countries and cultural backgrounds. Many of them have had to leave their place of origin behind and rebuild their lives in a new environment, in some cases after experiencing violence, exclusion or situations of particular vulnerability.The project begins with a question: How many stories pass by us without ever truly being seen?Through photography, in Retrats Femenins: Migrants I focus on each woman’s identity and personal story, moving away from a view of migration based solely on statistics, origins or circumstances.Portraits accompanied by personal memoriesEach portrait is presented alongside a selection of...

Opening of “Female Portraits: Migrants” in Alboraya October 4th, 2025 On October 2nd, I had the pleasure of inaugurating my photographic exhibition “Retrats Femenins: Migrants” (Female Portraits: Migrants) at the Casa de Cultura of Alboraya. This very special project continues its journey, opening to the public for the third time, after being exhibited for ten months at the Museum of the History of Valencia and later at the Ibercaja Actur Center in Zaragoza. Each new opening represents, for me, an opportunity to continue giving voice to the women who are part of this work — courageous women from different countries and cultures who have faced difficult and complex realities in their migratory journeys. Through their portraits, and their own personal photographs, I aim to offer an honest and deeply human perspective on female migration, addressing a highly relevant issue with sensitivity and empathy.
