An Unforgettable Experience at ARTEXPO Paris 2024

An Unforgettable Experience at ArtEXPO Paris 2024 October 24th, 2024  I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to showcase my artworks "Dignity", "Fortitude", and "Endurance" at the prestigious Galerie Agnes Nord as part of ArtEXPO Paris 2024. Sharing these pieces from the "Female Portraits: Looking Back to the Past" collection in such an inspiring city has been an incredible experience. Art is more than just an expression of creativity—it is a powerful lens through which we confront societal issues, inspire meaningful conversations, and envision solutions for a better future. Through my art, I aim to highlight the struggles and triumphs of individuals, giving voice to those who may otherwise go unheard. Pieces like "Dignity", "Fortitude", and "Endurance" are not just portraits of strength and resilience; they are reflections of the challenges women face in their journeys to reclaim identity, autonomy, and dignity. As artists, we hold the power to project possible futures—ones...

Art Dubai 2024

Art Dubai 2024 March 05th 2024 - by Séfora Camazano [caption id="attachment_1629" align="alignright" width="225"] Art Dubai Digital[/caption] In this article, I share my experiences and reflections on the unforgettable visit to the Art Dubai 2024 fair. Four years ago, I had a planned trip to Dubai that, unfortunately, was canceled due to lockdown restrictions. This cancellation left a void in my mind, longing for the experience that eluded me at that moment. Learning about the Art Dubai fair provided me with the opportunity to redeem that pending trip, and it turned out to be a wise decision. My visit not only focused on the fair but also allowed me to explore the local culture and visit iconic tourist spots such as the Burj Khalifa and the old center of Dubai with its picturesque Arabian shops. This broader focus on cultural experience made my journey much more enriching and meaningful. Art Dubai exceeded my expectations. Beyond traditional...

“Female Portraits, de Séfora Camazano” begins its journey at the Westin Hotel in Valencia with great reception.

The exhibition "Female Portraits", inaugurated on April 28th at the exhibition hall of The Westin Valencia Hotel, presents an artistic collection inspired by the works of the Valencian painter Joaquín Sorolla, created by the Hispanic-Brazilian artist Séfora Camazano. Camazano portrays women of various ages, cultures, and origins who have suffered some form of violence. These women, of different nationalities, have been forced to change their lives. "Female Portraits" presents them with dignity and elegance, without reducing their identity to the violence they have experienced. In addition to paying homage to the painter on the centenary of his death, Séfora chose Sorolla for his key role in representing women in all areas. The exhibition, which will remain open to the public until June 28th, 2023, also featured the presence of the exhibition curator, Miguel Arce, who highlighted the importance of giving visibility to these women and their stories. The artist Séfora Camazano...
